Ok, I have a very weird problem. My 84 300d sedans sunroof (sometimes) works. It seems to have more trouble when its cold, and it seems to always close, but not always open??? The other day I temp. oiled down the tracks with wd-40. I'll hit it with some white lithium grease (couldn't find my can in the garage so I used wd-40) when I pick up some in a few days. When the roof dosen't open, I can still here the motor working. It almost sounds like its off track. However it eventually works when I play with the switch, and seems to work more often the warmer it is outside. Since I used the wd-40 it seems to work more often in the cold (cold being 50 degrees or colder), but still is not 100%. Any ideas what to check for? Any ideas what to grease and what not too? Thanks in advance!
