Hello all,
I have a 2000 ML320. Does anyone have any idea how to adjust/tighten the sunroof. The rattle is about to send my wife over the edge. A year or so ago we had a rubber strip that came out. It was reinstalled at a local shop that does a lot of mercedes work. Is there a way to "tighten" it up?
I hate to take it to the dealer. I have a bad phobia about any dealers.

I had the same issue and used dynamat to fix the rattle. First, remove the sunroof glass by removing the two mounting screw (do a search for instructions). Next, put a layer of dynamat on the back side (side facing the sky) of the inner panel. Tinner panel is the piece that slides back and forth with plastic on the outside and headliner on the inside. That should solve your problem
