Using previous posts found doing a search on this board, I was able to clean and lubricate my sunroof and it now slides as it is supposed to. Many thanks to those that have taken the time to write up procedures for us all to use.

The only problem I still have is the tilting function. It will tilt if I press the button numerous times and "step" it through to the full tilt position. It returns to the closed position with one click of the switch.

All I did was clean the rails/guides with WD40 and then apply MB sunroof lube to the rails. What should I look for to correct the tilt portion?

You could try the obvious and check to see if the buttons contacts are clean. sometimes the simplist solution is the easiest,... I hope this is the case for you. Try some conductive grease on the terminals. Or if possible, just replace the switch.
