one of my diesels sunroof is out of adjustment. when closed, the sunroof protudes about 1/4 inch higher than the rest of the top of the car. how do i adjust it make to level? also, i thought originally that my entire sunroof system was jacked. turns out i took the sunroof motor apart and noticed that was is happening is the worm screw on the motor shaft is slipping on the gear in the housing. it appears to be a fiber based gear as well. what are my repair options? i understand that i can always just open and close it manually.

if you can get the headliner off the inside of the sunroof, there are adjustment bolts that can be used to fine tune the fit

what are the flathead adjustment screws for on the top of the metal track? i saw one on each side.

I believe those are it but get a 2nd opinion first

New to you car?
I don't think manual operation is an option.
Maybe the clutch needs adjusting.
