i'm looking for sporty tires as i occasionally drive ~140 mph (private roads) and new rims that look similar to the '03 e500. would i be able to simply buy e500 tires w./ rims and put them on the e430? i'm not a tire specialist as you can see...also i'm looking for all-season tires.

You wouldn't be related to Swiderski, would you?
140mph ? Long years since I could drive that fast.
I have been long years fan of Michelins and I bet they have the tire for your needs, but you really have to ask people who are allowed to drive that fast.

At that speed, I recommend getting the road hazard insurance for the tires no matter what brand you buy.

Pilot A/S

I occasionally drive at triple digits and think these are the best tire for this car. If you only drive a little pilots are great but don't expect to get more than 10K out of them. On my second set of A/S and have typically got 25K from them. Quite, smooth, expensive!
