I was thinking of removing two of the rear deck speakers for sound to port through, but it comes through just fine with them in there. Run the RMS on the sub and you'll be fine. What kind of music do you listen to primarilly? Also, what kind of amplification are you using for the sub, how are you wiring it in, and also, is the stereo stock?

I don't know, when I asked on another forum about just putting in subs (for more bass) the person responded that the unit would just compensate for the subs and the sound would be bad. It's either I replace the whole system or leave it alone. Is this true?
