I installed a new deck in my 86 190E and I was wondering if the white and red sockets( In the back of deck) that I didnt use, were for subwoofers?

That red and white jack on your deck is for a signal for a amp for subs or something of that sort.

So your running both the red and white lines to the sub(s), then a diffrent line from the subs to the amp, right?

Ok, let me explain how to install a whole system to you...

You need + constant from the bat to the amp. THen you need a + remote from the HU to the amp. The AMP takes in the RCA input(the red and white) to feed it a signal. Then from the amp there is speaker wire that connects to the sub to give the sub signal.

That is a quick howto. Hope this helps.
