After 2 months I accidently pulled on my rear dr. side door and it opened (it would open only from the inside.
I finally fiigured how to break(loose) the fan mount nut to get at the water pump, it was toasted. I gently locked a vise grip onto the pulley. New H2O pump from the Benzbin.com painted body color along with fan, t-stat housing, air filter cover and H2Opulley. Then I broke old azz plastic radiator neck (new rad. on order).
Just knowing and seeing benz owners doing their thang is my in-spire-ration.
One Love.

Hang on Jippi.

I forgot to mention tha my gauges and tach clocked out. It's like playing hide and seek when the girls played we called it "hide an go get it" now with my BENZ just like the with the girls, I'm game. It's nice to have a real car, even if it is used and kinda old.

It's really common to have corrosion on the bulb socket (it'll be sort of a white dust). Wipe that off and it should work.

As for discovering stuff, my sister's 300E has an electronically adjustable telescoping steering wheel. The switch is on the left side of the steering wheel column. I never knew this was an option until I worked on her ignition switch recently. So I bet there's probably a few 190E's that have it too.

She had no idea it was there either.
