I have a 2014 GL450

For the past few weeks I've noticed a strange clunking, seems like its coming from the front right hand part of the car.

Its happens quite a but but I just cannot locate it. It feels suspension related too me. With that said I've changed the sway bars and undone everything and re-tightened them, control arms, steering knuckle, even the engine mounts. I've also checked for anything loose not suspension related.

Not sure if it would help taking it to a tire/shock place that has a lift.

Would welcome any suggestions

Is your TPMS functioning as expected? A while back I read a post about a loose TPMS sensor in the tire. Was broken off and made noise at low speeds as it tumbled and was silent at higher speeds.

SOLVED!!!

I clambered under car and pushed and pulled everywhere, then realized I could feel a little play in the right hand driveshaft. This was the shaft that is attached to the intermediate shaft which goes into the transfer case.

Ordered another, it arrived today. Fitted and the noise is gone. Silence is golden, hope this helps someone

Do you know what the part number is? Or where you ordered the part? I can't find what you're talking about on FCP Euro or Pelican Parts.
