The car was driving fine, then suddenly the check engine light came on and the car lost some power and I could feel it like it was missing or shaking the engine.
It drove like crap until I got home. I turned off the car then started it back up to drive into the garage, the check engine light went off and the car behaved normally.
Puzzled, I grabbed my code tester and hooked it to OBD port. No errors were stored or found!
I checked in the intake manifold regulator for broken actuators but they were fine. I removed the air filter assembly to see if there were any obstructions... Nothing!
Revved the car, drove it around the block, no issues!

Strange....

Car passed state emissions test!
I highly suggested that everyone checks the intake manifold's swirl control for cracked cases or broken links.
