Hello,

I am having difficulties with my car, I parked it for one hour and when I got back in I couldn't start it. I would put the key into its slotbut it never turned. The key was locked in place and no matter what I did it would not turn over from position 0. The lights, accessories such as radio, lights and residual heater seem to work ok. No mattery sign on AC panel when heat is turned on. The car locks and unlocks, everything seems to work but I cannot swtich it from Park. I disconnected the battery and came home....

...I remember I could not start it 2 times before, but after I reinserted the key those times the car started just fine. This time has me thinking something is really worng....

Could this be due to low voltage? I dont know what to do..
Any input would be a major help. Thank you!!

Best Regards,
Alex.

I've managed to start it after a while once more with my key, but then I had to turn it off because the lights did not turn on. As expected, the key was stuck again and no matter what I did it didn't turn... So I got my old style beat up key which started the car fine.

I duno what will happen in the morning, I drive alot.

What I was thinking maybe voltage drops and it quits? But I'll try with old key tomorrow as well.

Update:

Before parking for the night, I tried the "problematic" key and it worked; so the problem is obviously intermittent -we'll see what the new day brings. Good night!
