Copied and postd here just as it was posted there..........

At approximately 07:38 hours this morning our crewchange helicopter carrying 9 passengers for crewchange encountered a very heavy rain squall here at the rig as it was attempting to land. It is believed that the downdraft of the storm forced the aircraft into the water. The pilots kept their composure & inflated the pontoon floats, & within about 30 seconds were able to lift up out of the water & land safely on the rig.

No one was injured, albeit a few passengers were quite shaken up in the event. The pics of the seats in the aircraft are proof of that. If you've ever wondered what a helicopter looks like after the floats are deployed (inside & out), well wonder no more.
