I'm having a problem with the Antenna hookup. My 2000 SL500 did not come with a radio when I recently purchased the car. I had a stock radio out of a 1999 SL so I'm using that radio to install in the 2000SL. All the stock radio hardness was intact and everything work just fine except the antenna connection in which does not fit in the stock Mercedes radio. Am I missing another fitting that would connect to the antenna end or is the antenna wire completely not the correct antenna wire?. I've attached some pics that could explain further my problem.

Was that an adapter cord on the harness for an aftermarket radio?

Yes. They say the radio was stolen which most likely was an aftermarket radio. But after a bit of studying I manage to pull the adaptor wire apart in which was tight. Luckly all the original stock plug connectors (3) was there that plug into the stock radio.

After I manage to loosen and removed the adaptor wire, the stock connection just plugged into the antenna slot.
