Hi, I have a manual 6 speed 230 yr 2001! Sometimes when I first start the car in the morning, the clutch is really stiff to press down, but is fine after a minute or 2??
Does anyone know if it's possible to lubricate it?
Advice much appreciated
Thanks
Andy

It "may" be picking up on the main shaft extension tube where the thrust bearing slides.
You could drive it up onto ramps, chock rear wheels.
Spray wd40 liberally thru inspection plate or where fork enters housing (assuming it has one) towards the rear of pressure plate.
This may help to identify if its a lube issue.
The wd40 will dissapear after a while.
Dont spray in with clutch pedal depressed.

Leg presses will help. Once you build up proper, manly strength the pedal will not feel stiff.
