My speedo initially sticks and then frees itself after a minute or two and jumps to the my current speed. Search function suggests that it is the 0 location pin that has become sticky with outside temperature rise. (We are in Summer here in New Zealand) and suggests cleaning it with Isopropyl Alcohol. My question is how to access the dial does the perspex cover come off or does the dash have to be dismantled.
One other question where to adjust the kick-down on the gas pedal as at present it needs a really hard foot pressure to make it downshift. The car is a 1994 C280 W202
