I guess your airbag will fit. Is this an original Mercedes steering wheel?

Yes original MB AMG Sport steering wheel and shift knob. Will fit W210 E class, so should fit mine ya?

It's expensive. Because this is an old version steering wheel. This will fit SLs prior to 1996. I think it's being sold on Ebay Germany for around 340-400$, can't remember exactly.

I think Ill just get this new AMG steering wheel. Seems to match my leather real well. Now to get the wheel off.

The last pic you posted shows a steering wheel which will not accept your current airbag. I have the same wheel as the first picure. Its made by Victor (it's called the comfort) made in italy using original MB steering wheel frames, Sheer quality!

Looks great in the car and feels phenomenal!

In my opinion, this is the best model/color steering wheel for your car. I think it's the most expensive including the airbag because it's the latest one for the R129.

Is this the R129 Storm? Never seen one like this before. hmmm. (wood trim, doors, glove-box). R129 never came with glove-box, or did they?

Yup thats right (airbag & Sterring combo). I paid 322 Pounds for mine.

I just went and got storms wheel, since there are no airbag issues. I really do like your wheel too SA, especially since I have the wheel and it is very well made and stylish looking. Storms is more sporty!! and my SL is red!
Ill post pics when I get the wheel. I hope I have a good match in color with the airbag.

Got the new wheel in.

Well, I got the new wheel in but the color match was'nt that good. cest' la vie. I still like it a lot and the feel is good.
It was quite easy to install, just need the right tools. The 10mm center screw was difficult but an extender bar on the wrench, did the trick.

It looks good, but the color difference is obvious.
I asked for the airbag. It is available in black and blue color. Let me know if you're interested.

Yes the color is diferent, especially in direct light. I think Storm has the same problem with his.
On the air bag..yes I'm interested. Black one for the other wheel.
I think I will lookk into trying to dye? the airbag I have on there..see if I can get them to match better.
