I love my w210 because of how the car becomes confortable to drive..... i love that the steering wheel is electric telescopic and electric tilt. Theres one thing though. I like my steering wheel to be at a 90 drgree angle. My e320 goes only to a certain point. Most general motor vehicles do this but why dont mercedes? Maybe there's a trick or maybe an extension... Anybody customize steering angle? if so, let me know how?

I assume you mean you want the wheel vertical (90 degrees to the ground)? The is a reason for the upward slant, namely so that the airbag deploys toward your upper-body and head. If it's vertically, it will deploy towards your stomach and crotch.:eek: That WILL seriously damage the family jewels.:crybaby2:

Sounds like a good question for the Mercedes engineers/designers. Kobus offered a reasonable explanation but if that is the case, why are the steering wheels on GM cars adjustable to the full vertical position?

On GM vehicles you can also adjust the seating position until you are just a few inches away from the steering wheel. Another very bad safety decision in my opinion.:surrender:
