[Merc-S600]

I come across a nice looking W220 2002 model Steering Wheel ,Question is will it fit onto our 140's , some modifications ok but not at the extend where the whole steering column would need to be exchanged swapped over .
I have seen 140's with W220's steering wheel on them but how ,direct fit or with some major modifications ,anyone knows anything about it ?
I did a search before creating this threat ,nothing here on Benzworld that showed up on this subject yet ,I'm sure others might like to know about this as well .:thumbsup:

I don't know Merc! If the the spline is the same and the airbag wiring is plug and play it might fit ??? Hopefully someone here may know better! Everything on these cars can be so touchy!!!

Thanks guys except Joe ,he is gonna cop it ,lol.(never will I buy a w220,Joe not even for free,if I want some garden ornaments or gnomes ,I go get them at the garden store not at a dealer lol,)
As you guys know I wanted to buy the steering wheel of that S600 recently posted ,unfortunately the wrecker sold the whole car ,so now I'm on the search again for something different .
I think I wait and see if a late model w140 shows up sooner or later because as I searched online if the 220 wheels is compatible or not , there is a risk that the airbag won't deploy when ( hopefully never ) needed .:thumbsup:

I got this one off Ebay! I like it!! Can't remember seller but Price was reasonable not like the $500 one I got for my E420 ! But trash around on the web and you can find them!

thats reminiscent of the Brabus steering wheel except that it has wood.

Was considering that for a while but it might not go with all the wood theme I had going on
