Hi all,

i have a 1994 S420, and recently, the steering wheel has been rattling. I've found that it is because the airbag cover in the middle is very loose and is moving around. There is now about a 0.5" gap more than usual. I can push it in and out and move it around. It takes a bit harder of a push for it to sound the horn because the airbag cover is so far out.

This may be a hard scenario to picture in your mind, and I do not have pictures right now, but will post them asap.

What can I do to maybe reattach the cover or make it tighter again just like it used to be?

Did you check the two recessed screw behind the steering wheel to see if they are tight? Think its a T-27 torx. You may need a long bit or a short extension.
