Has any body replaced the 2 u joints of the steering shaft (from the firewall to the steering box)? DC sells the entire shaft and not the u joints individualy.
Any ideas on what could be done.
Thx

U- joint sizing

Universal joints are specified by two dimensions.
1- the outside diameter of a bearing cup
2- the distance from the closed end of one bearing cup to the closed end of the opposite bearing cup.

Once you know the size you need, suppliers can help.

Good luck!

If you figure out the size, please post!

Tmorrow I'll visit friend who owns a machine shop. Maybe he can rebuilt them or make a new shaft.
Thanks

DC wants 385 Euros for that part [B)]
