I just bought a brand new 2002 C320 sport wagon and since the day I got it I noticed it was pulling to the right.<br>
The car has been in the shop 4 times and they are trying to tell me there is nothing wrong with it and this is the way it should be. ????<br>

Yeah I did talk to an atty but they want $3k out the pocket just to do a lemon law claim wich I can do but do not want to get into it.<br> We also complaint to MB and the send a Rep who said that's the way these cars drive '?'.<br> I have tried at least ten different other C class models and they all have the same problem and I know the dealer has plenty of customers bringing cars back because of the same problem.<br> I also open at least 3 complaints with the NTHSA and so far I have not heard anything.<br> <br> Thanks<br> <br> Jose

I also drive a 320 Wagon-it tracks straight as an arrow. If the dealer is telling you it is supposed to pull right---call MB USA and make noise until the area rep does something to make it right.

What year is your? I drove at least 10 of this new ones (2002) and they all have the same problem. I already spoke to the area rep and after he drove the car said that's the way it should be.<br> I probably just claim it under the lemon law and go and by a VOLVO V70 <br> <br> Thanks anyway<br> <br> Jose

Mine is a 2002. Manufactured in Feb, delivered in April. It does not pull to the right-however like any vehicle 'hands off' it will slowly drift right. Describe the 'pull' that you have experienced.

Mine is also a 2002 bought in April 6th, you are right this is only when you take your hands off the wheel but this won't happend in any other brand including other German made ones.<br> Also my question to the dealer is why is this the way the car is they have tried to fixed so many times and even the shop forman who drove the car accepted the car was pulling to the right. <br> Have you tried your car in a flat surface other than a public street or a hwy?<br> <br> Thanks for your input<br> <br> Jose Fernandez

Fat fingered the first attempt. Jose' regardless of surface car seems to track correctly. I would assume that your dealer has carefully checked alignment and ensured that all links in the front suspension are tight. The car should track 'hands off' until the gyro effect causes a right drift.

Thanks for your input again but I have been out of town for the last week and haven't had a chance to play with the car. Anyway the dealer tried to realign the car three times and change the tires twice but out of that I do not know what else they have done with the car. The car was in the shop for most of the first month meanwhile my wife had the chance to test drive (loaners) more than 5 diferent cars from a Ford Explorer to a Nissan Maxima(best experience) and none of then pulled anywhere.
