Posted a few weeks ago asking if anyone had experienced "pops" in the steering. No responses. Had the G in and the steering shaft, lower section was replaced, problem solved.

The dealer had no idea why the problem happened. 2002 with 80K driven on highway. Still under waranty.

Anyone else?

Also, was in Germany last week and talked with a person who was formerly a managing director for Bilstine (sp?) shocks in Romania. He had a G for his company car. Said they replaced stock shocks with Bilstines and the ride was incredably different (better). Smoother on highway and less body roll.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Factory stock shocks are Bilstein. His were probably just worn out and needed replacing.
