I have a 500clk convertible, I hit a pothole while driving and have lost the "feel" that the steering is adjusting to speed. The steering responses ok, but the steering wheel does not feel the same at speed where it usually was stiffer. I added more power steering fluid (maybe a half a liter). It steers the same, I thought I might change all the power steering fluid in a week if the steering does not change. I guess the next move if this doesn't work is to replace the power steering pump, is there another thing I should check before replacing the pump.

thanks

The alignment can definitely affect the steering feel. In fact, it has more to do with it that the fancy "parameter steering" option.
