Autohaus has bearings on back order and I wanted to change my other one in the next few days:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your parts request. The wheel bearing you need is in stock, we have two in my other store
(500 8th st. San Francisco CA). Price for the bearing $87.75 each, and if you have anymore questions just give us a call. Thank you and have a good day.

Thank you,

Mercedes Benz of San Francisco

Dude was pretty nice on the phone - but then I got this email and I was thinking, "yeah I do have more questions. Like why the FRACK are you selling a 25 dollar part for nearly four times its market value?"

Observe son:

2103300051 items - Get great deals on eBay Motors items on eBay.com!

Thankfully I don't need this right ASAP so I can wait but I still find it shameless that they charge so much for anyone that DOES have a sense of local urgency.

I suppose I should have asked if the bearings were BARBUS though.

I wouldn't mind spending that much on a BARBUS bearings.

Lollllllllllllll

I went ahead and ordered off some dude on ebay - they are all over the internet, the bearings that is - and I expect premiums at dealers but 400% is not a premium.
