starting problem with 99clk430

Hope someone can help.<br> When I turn the key, ignition wants to catch but doesn't start (almost seems<br> to short out). I keep the key turned and after 3 cycles finally starts. Any<br> ideas?<br> Thanks, Tom

Could be bad plugs. How many miles ?

May have to do with the key and or ignition assembly...have dealer check it out.

I had the same problem on my 98clk320, the dealership said that it was caused by the flywheel
