So I’m looking for some guidance,
1991 190e 4cyl.
Won’t start no warning nothing, just wouldn’t start one day.
Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter.
Checked cylinder compression, very strong,
Fuel pump relay. The Red top relay with the fuse Is brand new.
Checked fuses in the engine compartment.
All seems fine.
Car will crank but will not start.
ive poured fuel in the intake it fired right up with no problem but eventually died.
My next step will be to look at camshaft and crank shaft sensor.
Any advice on what I need to be looking at would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. If your engine started with some fuel you already have your answer.

How long has this car been stored/sitting?

Seems:
(1) Your injectors are not spraying fuel
(2) Not only that you do not even have enough pressure thru your Cold Start Valve, or your CSV is not working electrically

I would not bother with Crank Postiion Sensor or ignition issues until you resolve your fueling issues.

(A) Measure your system fuel pressure is 80 PSI or so, if it is already try the next 2 items
(B) take out your CSV and see if it sprays anything when you crank for a second or two. My guess it does not. You will have to fix that
(C) After you fix that, you still have to fix why the injectors are not injecting fuel. I would take one injector out and see if I'm correct

- Cheers!

Thank you it hasn’t been sitting
It was a daily driver , pulled in the drive way
Went back out 5 hours later then nothing.
My understanding of the csv
Is it’s just hard starting, but will start?
But I will check it.

You said by putting fuel into the intake you could start the car momentarily. If that is true a working CSV system would also do the same.
So your CSV is definitely not working now meaning it may not even have any fuel coming in. Maybe it was never working or you truly have zero fuel pressure.

Maybe check your fuel pressure/flow first, it being a daily driver changes the diagnostics quite a bit.

Oh I miss-red your first post about the Fuel Pump Relay. It is NOT the one with the red top. That is the OVP relay.

Most likely your all BLACK fuel pump relay is not working. Are your pumps running when you turn the ignition key to on position for 2 seconds?

With your symptoms the FPR is probably the low hanging fruit.

Ha csv was not working,
I connected it directly to my battery and it worked, so the valve is good but, it’s not getting power.
So now I need to find out why it’s not getting power.

Can you explain how you determined it is not working? You took it out, disconnected it from the electrical connection but left the fuel line in tact.
Connected it to the battery and it sprayed fuel? But it you remove the battery connection and instead connected it to the ECU, it does not spay fuel?

I still believe you have multiple issues going. A malfunctioning CSV will cause a very hard start but will not cause the engine to stall after it starts.

I disconnected CSV from the engine placed a cup under it, cranked it, and no spray of fuel.
Then I disconnected the power lead connected it to my volt meter ,cranked it no indication of power.
Connected the CSV directly to a 12volt power source and it sprayed fuel.

Assuming this all happened when the coolant temp was well below 40C, then yes your CSV is not working. This is just an additional problem.
Maybe it has not been working for a long time. If your engine did not/does not start in a split second when cold the culprit is generally the CSV not firing.

And this also proves there is some fuel pressure maybe not the needed 80psi to keep the engine running.

If I were you, I would measure your system fuel pressure at the Fuel Distributor next. If that check's out let us know.
