My 08 Cclass lately has been having signs of not wanting to start up. I feel like it hesitates before fully starting up.The battery has been changed in 2013. Can it be the starter? I am trying to be preventative maintenance before I have car trouble. ANy ideas? Thanks

can the 3 year old battery be going bad already?

It certainly is possible. Take the car to a shop lots or parts dealers can load check the battery. Also check that the connections to the battery and cables are clean and tight.
