I have a 92 W140 and every now and then the SRS warning lamp illuminates. THE light will stay on for a period of time, and sometimes for the entire drive, but it will not come on next time I drive the car.<br>

It could be anything related to the SRS system. You need to have your MB hooked up to a MB SRS for fault reading. On my '95 S420, it was a defective driver's seatbelt latch.<p>
