sqeak

I have a 82 300sD (w126) and i have this extremely loud squeaking noise coming from the front left tire area. Several people have told me to spray some gease on the bottom of the spring. I did this using WD-40, White Lithium Grease and some other thing. I also tried spraying down the shock and just about every metal bolted thing in that area and the squeak is still there any idea where it could be coming from? I had the shocks replaced in 93. If you pressed down on that area of the car, you would hear it Or if you drive and cause that seciont of the car to take a bump or somthing like that, you'd hear it. Any ideas?
