Sprint booster is a chip accelerator on fuel pedal signal. I've this installed in my C32 AMG and ML350. It much improves the slowliness of fuel injection which is a common issue of most mercedes cars.

The upside is it seems like the ML had installed a small turbo whenever you accelerate. It much improves the drivability & make you feel driving a real sport car. You can overtake others easily. The downside is it consumes ~5-10% more fuel.

The hardware is a wired/ chip adapter and install at the compartment right above the pedals. No wire cutting and just simply unplug the original wire, and add the adapter in-btw......10 mins job by my mechanic.

The price is abt US300. I find it from a local dealer/ workshop in HK where they supply performance parts here such as brabus, amg, eibach, bilstein

yes...you know Gilbert. He's a lot of cool stuff - Eibach, K&N, AMG kit, Brabus it etc

Have to say HK is a small place and I just registered as a member after I got my CLK a week ago (a 2nd hand one). Gilbert is recommended by another friend and while asking him what kind of simple mods can be done (I used to drive a ML320), he recommended sprint booster and pulley mod.

Anyone know where I can find H&R springs in HK? Seems Eibach is a bit out.

Willip,
It really depends what you need.....H&R gives you a firm & harsh ride, Eibach gives sport+comfort setting, and Bilstein PSS9 for street racer.

Finally I found the proper MB board. MBworld seems to lean more towards... well, maintance, and how to crash a car.. . ..

Anyhow, can you give me some information on the store you are talking about?
I am a :bowdown: BMW fan originally, but now a MB convert. However, Hamann don't make anything for the E (I think).. so I am leaning towards Carlsson.. are they crazy expensive?

So far I've
- K&N air filter
- Eibach spring (4 inches lower !)
- sprint booster (fuel accelerator)
- aluminium pulley for alternator (more responsive acceleration)
- oxygen anion injection (improve combustion)
- 20" AMG wheel

Will have the Sebring muffler installed soon.
