Get the VIN and run a carfax report, it'll be the best $20 you'll spend on any potential car purchase.
The Sportline does have the leather sport seats front and rear, has a slightly lowered suspension (springs, shocks and anti-roll bar) and has the much sought after lower ratio steering box. There's no engine modification. Useable power-wise, the 2.3-16 and the 2.6 are very close.
To make a stock 2.6 into a sportline or better (excluding badges, seats and steering box) would basicly involve upgrading the suspension via Bilstein's and lowering springs, changing the anti-roll bars.
