Judging by the way the 190e 2.3 behaves, and the added weight of the w124 chassis, I'd say you'd have to make use of the entire RPM range to get that car up to speed on an open freeway or highway. Of course, seeing as how you're in LA, that's probably not an issue![

It will probably feel similar to the 300e 2.6 as far as acceleration, it'll maybe feel a like it has better low-end response but not as much high-rpm push.
