Hey all,I'm working on my 1990 190e 2.6.After doin an oil change and pressure
washing under the hood I'm now having idle problems.Today the idle was sporatic,up and down. While doin this up and down idle I could hear a clicking noise that seemed to be connected to the idle fluctuating.I tried to pull the air cleaner to get a better look at what was making the noise, but wasn't fast enough. The clicking stopped and the idle returned to normal.Yesterday the idle would go randomly high, about 1500rpm stay there then come down again. The only other clue I can give is the fuel pump seems to be uncommonly loud today,so I'll change the fuel filter this weekend. Thanks in advance,Chris

Help needed!

I am also having the Anti-Lock light coming on along with the high idle issue. I took out the ICV and cleaned it and it worked fine for about a few weeks. I tap on the OVP and it corrects the idle for a minute and it goes back into the high idle. I see a bit much of play in the socket where the relay goes into.

Please advice.
