I am missing the plastic chin peice on my '74 450SLC ,so I decided to look around for a spoiler.A mate has a AMG equiped SL and offered the front spoiler to copy.His looks to be a factory part(ABS plastic) and has a part number 107 790 0288.It this a MB number or a AMG ( or other ) part number?.
i want somethng like this..

Check Merc spareparts... look for front spoiler for '89 500SL or 560SL and it will cost you no more than ZAR5500 (~AUD1000)

I'm on the AMG Private Lounge right now trying to get them to sell parts, with about 10 other amg guys no luck, So I think you're going to have to go aftermarket or MB parts cuz new real AMG parts NOT available.

I don't like the look of the later 560 chin spoiler much.although i've seen some really good looking cars...might just have to make something myself along the lines of the AMG style.
I wish they were only $1000 here but i suspect the local DC people will want the proverbial left nut.
This is a Koenig,just in case you may have thought that AMG were the only ones who did W107 kits.

I'm looking to get it out of my shed.
