ok my wheels are 6.5J x 15 ET 48, and they recommend tire size 195/65 R15 but i am driving on 215/60r15 93H.... what will happen to my speedometer?i don't udnerstand tire sizes.. what is the difference between the two?? is one soft? taller? harder? wider? ..more round? will the current tires that i have make my speedometer read higher or lower than the actual speed?

**EDIT**

http://www.gdtm.net/TiresAWCS124.htm

i have the 5th wheel on that site... but on there it says the diameter is 15 inches.. but i just got some measuring tape and it shows 16 inches... i think thhat makes the difference and the recommended size is different... what should i get??

Those two tires are very close to each other in diameter which is what is important. Comparing two Michelin Pilot XGT H4 tires in those sizes, I find the speedometer error is about 0.7%.

Measuring the wheel with a tape from edge to edge is not accurate. The actual wheel size is measured from the flat part just inside the edge to the flat part on the opposite side of the wheel.
