I have a 1995 C220 and lately the speedo/tacho needles stick for several minutes after starting to drive, and ususally jump to the correct reading after a while. Anyone knows what the problem is due to and how to fix it?

i took me a while to figure out this problem before but i think i know whats wrong with your cluster.
if you look real close you will see a sticky substance on the pin that the speedo and tack needles rest on. where this comes from i dont know.
use some instrument cluster hook and take out the cluster. you can seperate the clear cover from cluster and clean off the pins. hope this helps
