So today I found out that the website I was planning on ordering speakers from has discontinued them with no further stock so once again I must reprice/rebuild my sound system.

I already have 4" comps for the doors i need 4 inch coaxs for the dash, and whatever works for the rear shelf plus and amp.

Anybody got any suggestions?[:(!]

It all depends on how much you want to spend. You could go with some Pioneer, Alpine, or Infinity 4" coaxials or you could go with something that will cost more like JL Audio.

You can fit 6x9's in the rear if you wanted to, but it will require that you modify the cardboard rear deck and you will need to cut some metal for the magnets to clear. Or you can just stick with the stock size. Whatever floats your boat.

6.5" will fit, no sweat. They even fit under the factory grills (you might need to cut some of the clips). I got Alpines two years ago. Good sound, they were a little over 100 bucks.

happen to have a model number, and by cut clips you mean the mounting tabs of the speakers?

let me look at the stuff tonight and give you the model#.... yes I do mean those mounting clips.
Will take some pics of the speakers as well, to give you an idea. I had some guys install them for me, and I am still trying to figure out a better way to mount these two. But I am planning on doing a complete rewiring job - hopefully this year, sometime.[:0]
