Hello all,

As you may have read from my previous thread (This is truly a first for me)

I need to purchase spark plugs and spark plug wires.

Now..Since my car is a 1.8 and i live in North America..... finding parts is "tricky" to say the least.

I need to know the following:

Spark plugs and spark plug wires... are they the same units for the 1.8, 2.0 and 2.3??

Because everybody around here tells me they only have the parts for the 2.3 and 2.6... they don't know what goes in the 1.8. When i called the dealer they quoted me $260+tx+shipping FOR ONLY THE WIRES, so i really don't want to spend that... especially whehn i have source for OEM wires for a 2.3 for $108 (everything included)

So please help... Are sparkplugs and wires inter-changeable between the 1.8 and 2.3??

can anybody clarify this issue please?

The shop closes in 2 hours... and aren't open over the weekend. I'd love to have plugs and wires changed for next monday..

I've just looked on WSI (in a hurry) and the "Spark Plug Connectors" are exactly the same on both models, i.e. 190 E 180 and and the 190 E 2.3. So the rest of the "wires" are the same. Get down to the shop and buy them.
