I changed my spark plugs in 99 C280 with 123,000 miles. I have lost about 60 miles per tank of gas. Anyone else see this in there car?

Your saying you lost 60 miles AFTER you changed out your Spark Plugs?

or

You lost 60 miles per tank and then decided to change out your Spark Plugs?

If you are down 60 miles AFTER the change:

What sort of plugs? - correct gap?

You might have initiated a coil/harness problem when changing one of them? - how is it running?

Maybe it's running so well now that you've been a bit enthusiastic on the gas pedal?

Did you use single, double, or quad tip plugs? That can make a difference too.

Ive lost the gas mileage after the change, it runs fine and smooth. Relplaced with quad tip, no gap necessary plugs. Second tank of gas and its getting better.
