according to ESC tuning who selling the wheels to me they are a guaranteed fit for a 2002 ML 320. Once installed I will post the pictures of the vehicle with them on

Yes they will "fit" (broad term) 5x112 bolt pattern.
The recommended ETs for the wheel sizes.

And since they are 3rd party wheels, verify the bolt seating required ===> tapered (typically on aftermarket rims) vs conical (oem MB wheels bolts)

These are the only ones they carry - ET30.
You planning to use 'coke bottle glass thick+' spacers to match oem ET?
And even then< I'd never recommend wheel spacers.

I had no idea these were 600.00 apiece till khomer posted the link. I could buy a whole ml for the price of 3.

If it were me I search the pick apart yards first. I have seen lots of nice rims for 45.00 each. Including tires in some cases.

Question you mention the current tires have some life left what brandmodel and size are they?
I know you mention they are almost new.
But 275/5517 are becoming harder to find.
You may want to go to say an 18” wheel. I know you are planning on keeping your ml for the long run. wear the current set out then Make the switch or sell the current set of wheels and tires.

This is true.
It might pay to get them clear coated to protect the outer aluminium edge , from your winter roads.
