Thank you guys, I've been very busy with my work this year. I hardly have
any time to chat with my Benzworld brothers. But I promise this will change.
The picture on my profile avatar is my 1993 w201 in Crete Greece (the black
190e). The pics that I posted above is my 1992 190E with replica AMG's which
replaced the SLK's I had on last year.

p.s the Calypso MK2 in the background is my neighbors & actually she's
pretty hott too. 18yrs. old though.......

I'm always going to love 16valves. Especially black & you have the EVO wheels
too? Your vehicle is PHATTTT.
I use to own a 1986 charcoal grey16v about 17 years ago. I bought it off
a used lot for $7000 as is. When I brought it home, I almost started crying.
Actually, I think I did cry. This car had so many problems, it wasn't funny.
-exhaust was held up with thin wire (coat hanger)
-stereo worked 20min after the car warmed up
-all windows had electrical problems
-the car needed a full brake job including 4 rotors & 2 calipers
-the speedo had been tampered with
-brake light did not work & it wasn't the bulbs either
-windsheild wiper did not work
-sunroof did not work
-heat did not work
-forget about air cond.
& so on................................
I took it to Mercedes & they told me that this car was owned by 23
previous owners before me. So guess what I did?
I took it back to the used lot and demanded my money back.
The guys just laughed at me & said, "hey man, you bought this car off me
in the condition of as is". "Sorry, I can't take it back, she's all yours".
I was so pissed off & didn't know what to do. I know what your going to
say, "why didn't you check all these things before you paid him the money??
Well, I was gollable & stupid back then. I then went back to Mercedes &
told them my problem. They had 1 last record of service on this vehicle
about a year prior to me buying this car. The odometer reading at the
time was 286,000km. Then why does my car's odometer read 104,000km now?
I went back to the dealer and showed him that he fucked with the odometer
& I demanded my money back or I was going to go to the newspapers &
tell them my story.
He gave me the money back right away........................plus the money
I had Mercedes check the car out too $500...............................................
