This guy, who bought my wooden steering wheel said that all this time he open his steering wheel by opening the three star logo on the horn pad.

When I showed the correct way (pulling the middle rubber, the horn pad) he just shocked. He said that if he'd known that already, he wouldnt damaged his stock steering wheel.

Some people just making a terrible mistake. They don't know the correct and easy way to fix something.

What my wooden steering wheel would be look like in his hands?[V][V]

I think the right way is to also remove that center star (as per Haynes manual instructions). Then from there you unscrew that huge nut in there (hex, forgot what size).

Are you willing to give back that $550 for the wheel? [:D]

I think removing the horn pad is better. You don't mess with the logo.

I shouldn't think of the steering wheel more, but it's still sad to know you handed your precious things to some folks who did some damage to his stuff?
