Softtop Window Inexpensive Replacement Shop

I know this topic been discussed many time, but I wanted to share and let everyone know as sooner or later the plastic window on you convertible top will need replacement and usually never survives as long as the rest of our tops. I had my window replaced 2 years ago and to this day the new window still looks as good as when the replacement was first done. The job is tedious, maybe not for the shop, and takes almost as long as it takes to install the complete top. The job cost me 2 years ago $250.00 and today, it's the same price. To do the job correct the complete top has to be removed. So here's the deal, $250.00 to install the three-piece window and that's includes all material. If you purchase the complete top anywhere of your choice and you want this shop to install, the cost is $300.00 for labor. I think that's as good as it gets. This shop and the owner have been in business for well over 30 years and specialize in MB, BMW, Porsche and classics. His work is top-notch. I'm just here to help and that’s ALL. The shop is: Perez Upholstery in Pasadena, Ca. 626 799-7945. If you are within a 2-hour drive, you can schedule an appointment and wait while he installs or go have a coffee or something. The owner extremely nice, laid back and nothing to him is a problem. He’s there to please. Where’s that category on the forum for great shops…… Need to look harder
