soft top won't work

Hi,
I worked on the power antenna and had the key on and off for awhile. Maybe the batt. voltage went down. When I drove,console lights and chiming.
I have been reading many of the posts and have been following directions to reset soft top. I built the scanner tool and it sems to work. i get 1 flash for the roll over (pin 7) but the light only comes on for the soft top when I actually short pin 10. when i switch off the short, the light goes off and no codes, not even the 1 flash.Is there anything else i should do to reset these?

I don't live near anyone who knows how to fix 91 SL500's, so it looks like I am on my own. I do not have any manual, including an owners manual...
