Lynns,
Please explain in detail how to sign up. The page your directing to, ask for a password when you click on "Quote". as that's the only link I see to sign up or am I missing something...
Thanks,
Carltwo
Carl, we don't want to lose you to the other GUYS forum but you need to sign up with them as a Forum Member just like you did with ours. 'carltwo' 'password'.

BTW, I don't think you will find there R129 forum as Positive and Active as ours anyway. Just my biased opinion.

Do not forget to come and see me at the gathering. I have some very interesting electronics installed on my tired, old, '92. You might find them interesting and desirable.

Some of you know me, some don't. Look for SEAXSEA on the plate.

How exciting, will you be showing us your new 'SmartTop' from 'Mods4Cars' that offers the following features :

Soft top control while driving: Within a programmable speed limit 0-40 mph the top can be operated automatically with a short push of the open or close button.

Remote control: One-Touch operation of convertible top and windows with the original remote.

Deluxe Mode allows starting engine during remote top operation. Also allows turning the engine off, getting out and locking the doors, while the top is still closing.

User programmable: All features can be individually enabled or disabled. Some also allow different personal preferences to be set. All settings are retained even if the car battery is disconnected.

Shop/Diagnose mode: If activated the smartTOP is completely passive, as if it was not installed at all. It becomes invisible to diagnostic tools.

Future-proof investment: Should new features become available for this module, it can be updated easily and at very low cost.

Mike, if your still planning on introducing one of the Electrical Engineers to me on Saturday would you please tell him to bring at least one each of these modules? There's a good chance that my wife might be happy enough with me that day that I can purchase one if it's the right price. And didn't you say something about either another module or additional features that would allow for using the seat, sterring wheel, memory features when turning on/off the ignition. Can this be an add-on to the SmartTop module or is this a seperate module? And have they said how much? BTW, I would love to be a spokesperson for the later year (99-02) SL feature set if theu need another Southern California owner.

I won't be able to make it this time. Picking up nephew at LAX and heading south to La Jolla on Sat. to meet up with his parents for the weekend. He is on leave from the Naval nuclear engineering program stationed in So. Carolina.

GO NAVY!!

Hope to see you guys at next meet.
