Just thought I'd start an oficial thread on our beloved SLs and what names we've decided to bestow upon them.

My 4 yr old calls ours "Red Lightning".... he's a big fan of the movie "Cars".

My wife finds it hard to believe that I don't have names for either of my cars, and they aren't "male" or "female" either. I refer to them as the white car or the gold car - strangely unimaginative.

I did have a name for my ex's LeBaron convertible - "The Batmobile".

OK.........I'll play.

I call my SL the PIG....................named after one of my 1980s girlfriends.

Uses up my free time, costs lots of $$ to keep it running right but loves to be driven hard.

No?

Would you believe ......three boy scouts in a leaky row boat?

None of our cars have names other than what their makers gave them.
Someone woke uo on the wrong side of the bed today...

Hope your day improves - thanks for playing :D
