I wonder who makes the battery for Mercedes. I have heard really good things about Exide, but I get it about the white Mercedes battery for its "look".
I priced a reproduction of the Lucas lead acid battery for my 1969 TR6 and it was over $400.00 and will off gas and cause corrosion unlike and AGM. I think in this case I am ok straying from originality.

Some may say I am foolish, but in my 1969 Triumph TR6 it came with one year only radiator hoses that were nicknamed "bumble bee" hoses and there is only one guy who has successfully duplicated them. $425.00 for what you see here, but they are what originally came in the '69 model year and only the '69 model year.

You wanna play sometimes you need to pay.

I get it. I’m not building a concours example, but a white battery will really bring the engine compartment together.

Ah, the sweet sound of the UPS truck arriving with more new parts. Hopefully I am nearing the end of the parts buying.

I went with the Bilstein comfort shocks to go with my H & R 50mm lowering springs and four burl pads in the front. Rear springs and pads are TBD.

Plus, I finally pulled the headlight vacuum plumbing off the shelf that I had been saving for years. I think I am going to move the rear set light to the fader so I can install the headlight switch in it's place. Need to figure out how to get a fiber optic illumination line to it.
