Plowing with a dozer blade is possible but not recommended. If you have a case and a schmidt plate, why not an older schmidt snow plow?

And where is upper east coast? Where you are may make your hunt a little easier as there is Chris Elliot in Rhode Island among a few others.

I def believe I would like a plow over a dozer blade. I only have half of the schmidt mount. My lower half is missing, but I believe Von sells them. I did not know that a schmidt plow just bolts on. I thought it had to be a custom schmidt plow. I am in eastern PA.
