i did it myself on my CLK ...total cost was $22 + about 2.5 hrs of ur time....

Smoked Tail Lights

What year CL do you have? There is a set of tail lights already smoked (just the red) for the 02 CL on ebay for about $350. However, I realized that if you want it to look proper, you would also have to tint the thrid brake light on the trunk which is also red and not included in the auction. Otherwise, any local paint shop can paint your tail lghts for you. Enjoy.
