I just got a 2002 CLK320. The small window (side rear window, triangle glass) on the passenger side is broken and need to be replaced.

Has anyone ever replaced the small windows on the back? This is NOT a convertible.

If you have replaced them before please share your experience.
Also what would be the best place to order the glass?

Thanks in advance.

I guess the proper name for it would be quarter glass.

Anyone has ever replaced it on a coupe?

I'm pretty sure that the details will be in my WIS - but I'm away from my desktop PC right now.

If nobody replies by the weekend I'll look it up for you. Clearly you will have to remove the liner under the window first. Then some other stuff...

Thank you for your quick reply.

I look forward to some more instructions.

I just ordered a new glsss for $65 shipped and will try to replace it as soon as it gets here. But some guidance in advance will help a lot.

I did find this post for the C230 and it sounds easy. I am assuming the CLK is not that much different, but who knows.
C230 looks easy. For some unknown reason.. the W208 CLK is more labor-intensive. Look at the number of steps in the WIS drawing attached...

Sadly, there's just too many drawings there for me to post. Are you sure that you want to DIY?

That really helps. Will definitely try it myself as soon as I get the glass.

Thank you for looking it up.
